Day 68 - March 9

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Rumbold,

Thank you so much for sending us all of the pictures of the different and unique animals from Australia.  Today we learned all about a pair of orphaned sugar gliders, fairy penguins which are the world's smallest penguins, a king penguin, saltwater hatchling crocodiles, white-lipped tree frog, a platypus and wallaby and a possum.  As you can see from the pictures capturing the moment, we LOVE having pen pals from Australia and we LOVE learning all about the different animals from the land down under.

The clippings that you have sent and the learning that has evolved as a result has inspired us.  Shay has recently announced that 'when he grows up, he wants to be a Zookeeper in Australia' (much to his mom's disdain).  Ciaran LOVES bringing the clippings to school for Show and Learn so that all of his friends can too learn about all of these amazing animals.

Thanks for taking time out of your busy lives to think about us.  We appreciate it!!!

We have the clippings in a special file and will be sure to share with Bev next time she visits.

Hope you are both happy and healthy.

Lots of love,

Ciaran, Shay and Rowan
